【玳瑚師父出差錄】 《萬萬不可自殺》
Never Ever Commit Suicide (English version below)
前天哼唱了一首吾喜歡的歌。雖不是在最佳狀態時唱的，視頻也不清晰，但若能帶點歡樂和安慰給萬念俱灰的妳你，吾不介意獻獻醜。空閒時，想想我，來讀吾為妳你寫的文章。
人生不如意之事，十之八九。更何況，「人生」本是累世「點點滴滴」的匯集，若沒有「宿命通」、若沒有禪定功深，妳你又如何確定，到底誰對不起誰在先。人的壽命扣除睡眠所剩餘的，也不過數十寒暑，何必急急忙忙見閻王。就算要見，也要見佛王、仙王或地王。佛王是南無阿彌陀佛。仙王是南無無極瑤池金母大天尊。地王是南無大願地藏王菩薩是也。
這人間是一個大牢獄，降生在這裡的人，都是來「勞改」的。那有沒有例外的？有。但很少很少。這些很少數的當中，都是倒駕慈航的佛菩薩們。那來這人世間「勞改」的人，什麼時候才能「出獄」呢？最幸運的莫過於碰到，有真佛住世，廣傳真實佛法，而妳你皈依之，實修佛法達清淨。又或者因緣俱足，碰到大善知識，得到她他的教化，而妳你也真實起修，這樣一來就能夠，早日離苦得樂也。
自殺絕不是智者、勇者、仁者的體現。妳你若真的明白，「一切都會過去的」，還有什麼看不開、放不下的。真正的智者會明白，一切都會過去的，真正的勇者不會一死了之。真正的仁者不會留下慘痛的回憶給家人、友人、親人及後人，讓她他們和自己一起痛苦。
死後並不能解決，生前的一切。「不自然的死」祇是延伸更長更慘的「境遇」，就算能有轉世的機會，妳你的五官，妳你的身體，定會出現異相。苦也苦一世就好，何苦再苦多世呢？這一世的苦，是累世的債未還清，欠債不還是不負責任的，早日還清早日好。更何況，留得青山在，那怕没柴燒。

Things often do not go the way you want in life. Furthermore, your present life is the culmination of the many bits and pieces from the past lives. If you are not accomplished in foretelling the future or has deep meditative powers, how could you be sure who was wrong in the first place? A person's life is left only with tens of summers and winters after deducting the time spent sleeping. Why the hurry to see the King of Hades? Even if you are in a hurry, you should be seeing the King of Buddha, the King of Deities or the King of Earth. The King of Buddhas refers to Namo Amithaba. The King of Deities refers to Namo Jade Pond Golden Mother. The King of Earth refers to Namo Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.
This human world is a huge jailhouse and those born into this realm are here for "labour correction". Is there any exception? Yes there is, but the number is extremely small. They are the manifestations of the compassionate Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who return here to do salvation. When will the people undergoing "labour correction" be freed from their imprisonment? The luckiest ones would meet the true Buddha in present times propagating the Dharma, take refuge under Him and cultivate spiritually till the ultimate state of purity. Or in another scenario, when the conditions are right, one will meet a wise and virtuous sage and receive teachings from him or her, embarking on the path of spiritual cultivation. This will set you on the way to free your sufferings and obtain eternal bliss.
Attempting suicide is never the representation of wisdom, bravery or compassion. If you truly understand this phrase "This too shall pass", what would be it that you still cannot let go? The truly wise ones will understand that nothing stand still. The truly brave ones will not end their lives abruptly, thinking this will solve everything. The truly compassionate ones will not bear to leave behind such bitter memories for their family, friends, kins and descendants and see them suffer together.
Death does not solve the problems you face when you are alive. An unnatural death will only prolong the sufferings in length and severity. Even if you get to be reborn, your facial features and your body will surely have anomalies. As if one lifetime of suffering is not enough,why would you want to extend your sufferings beyond this lifetime? The sufferings this lifetime is the unpaid "debt" from your previous lives, and it is only responsible that you pay your dues as early as you can. Furthermore, as the saying goes "As long as the forest exist, there is no fear of a lack of fuel (wood)."
